Using a locally sourced red clay and centuries-old craftsmanship, the Horezu town of Romania is prized for its colorful pottery so much that it is on the list as an UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage destination. The Horezu Bowl, Swirl Feather is a low-profile bowl with an unglazed base that clearly indicates a hand-crafted dish. The Horezu Bowl's ivory bowl is dressed in colorful rings with a blue outer rim. The circular pattern is broken by swooshes of feather-like accents that give this bowl its "Swirl Feather" name.
