Meet Edgar & Constance, the ultimate power couple of the 19th century—or so they’d have you believe.
Edgar, a stern businessman with a talent for glaring, ran a thriving haberdashery empire, specializing in pocket watches and “respectable” hats. Constance, his ever-dutiful wife, spent her days overseeing the town’s most exclusive book club (membership by invitation only, of course).
Rumor has it, Edgar’s greatest scandal was being caught without a cravat at a society ball, while Constance once nearly caused a riot by suggesting the ladies read a novel instead of yet another etiquette manual.
Despite their serious expressions, we’re convinced they’d love a spot in your home—perhaps in a hallway where they can silently judge visitors or in a study where they can oversee all important affairs.
Guaranteed to add instant gravitas to any room. And just maybe, if you listen closely, you’ll hear Constance whispering, "Straighten your posture, dear."
Dimensions: 26" x 20"
